POSTER AND SEMINAR-CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN ASIAN ARCHITECTURE
For this assignment, we are to form a group of 6 to conduct a study of salient issue of globalization in the Asian architecture scene and come with solutions for it. We were instructed to select a street to study on (Jalan Tun H.S Lee) and to make an A1 poster as well as a video. We decided to pick a topic that focuses on the abandoned and neglected shophouses of the street and how we could conserve them.

REFLECTION
Overall, the assignment was a fun experience as we get to have a site visit to experience the non-physical contexts of the street for better insight on the street that we are researching on. I get to strengthen relationships and got to know my team members as well so that we could work better a group, I also really appreciate that all of my group mates were nice and although sometimes there were a few disagreements between team members, we managed to solve it peacefully and move on. After completing this assignment, I realized the importance of conserving traditional architecture so that the history associated with the building is not erased and can be experienced physically so that people can understand the history of it better.
